What is new in your practice?
I now provide coaching both in person and by telephone, allowing me to work with people who are not able to meet with me in person.
I recently changed the way I describe what I do from Life Coaching to Success Coaching. I find it better describes the results of a typical client.
I’m adding an Ultimate Self Care workshop series. In each 90 minute session, you will learn a new self care technique. Buy all three workshops and receive a discount!!
The first of the year I will be offered an advanced workshop called Intentional Clarity. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to move forward on their goals and desires.
How does it work by telephone?
However a client chooses to work with me, the process is very similar. Some of my clients choose to use a combination of meeting in person and meeting via phone, while some live too far away to meet in person at all.
If a client chooses to work with me exclusively by phone, we use e-mail or fax for initial paperwork. Once the paperwork is out of the way, we schedule an appointment. I call my client at the appointment time and we work together exactly the same way as we would in person, except we can’t actually see each other.
I currently have clients in Ohio, Colorado and Tennessee as well as Mississippi. It is a privilege to be of service to so many.
How do you determine if distance work is a good fit?
Before scheduling with a new client, I always recommend that we chat for a few minutes by phone. This allows me to get a feel of what the client is looking for and allows the client to get a feel for what I offer. During this process, we discuss what the plan of action is and make a decision about moving forward.
To work with me distance, you need to have phone service that isn’t based on a certain number of minutes, as sessions are typically 60 – 90 minutes. You also need a quiet place to be during our calls, so you can focus and get the benefit of our time together.
How often does someone need to meet with you?
This varies dramatically from one client to another and depends on exactly what the client would like to accomplish. Some clients schedule every week or two while others schedule on an as-needed basis. Clients leave each session with tools and concrete steps to take between appointments.
Tell us about your new name.
I’ve found that the term Life Coach is used by many people and can mean a variety of things. As a result, people weren’t sure exactly what I was offering. I answered many questions about what Life Coaching would do for someone.
Since clients work with me to get clear on their goals and then move forward to successfully achieve them, the term Success Coach seems to be a better fit. It brings clarity to my practice and hopefully makes it easier for clients to decide if they would benefit from working with me.

All variety of things – the client sets the agenda. Here are a few things we’ve tackled together:

Tell us about your current workshop.
I’ve been offering “Reduce Cravings, Reduce Stress” for the past several months. It is a great way to obtain a new tool in managing your life, as it teaches the basics of using Emotional Freedom TechniqueTM (EFT).
EFT is one of my favorite tools because it can be used literally by anyone, anywhere. Once you know the basics of EFT, you can use it independently to improve many aspects of your life. For example, if you stress out and feel anxious when taking tests, you can use EFT right before or even during the test to relieve your anxiety so you can perform at your best.

So you said something about Self Care…
Yes!! I am so excited about this new package. I see so many people who are trying to do for everyone else yet their own reserves are depleted. It is so easy to tell someone to take better care of themselves but too often that seems like just one more overwhelming task on an impossibly long to-do list.
Ultimate Self Care teaches how to take care of yourself. Broken into three 90 minute chunks, the workshops can be taken in any order and at any time. The intention is for it to be easy for you to learn and to incorporate into your life. If you put these practices together, you will begin to refill your reserves, will find it easier to handle day-to-day stressors and will move into healthier living.
The three workshops are “Deep Relaxation”, “Introduction to Reiki” and “Removing Self Care Roadblocks”.
Deep Relaxation is learning how to quickly and effortlessly achieve state of deep relaxation. Once learned it can be used for taking mini-stress breaks in as little as 5 minutes at a time. It can also be used as part of your going to bed routine to invite deeper, more restful sleep.
Introduction to Reiki will teach you to balance your own energies using the Japanese technique Reiki. Reiki is a school of thought that sees universal life force energy flowing through everyone and everything. When the energy is in balance, we feel good mentally, physically and spiritually. This course includes a Level 1 attunement. An attunement is a practice that simply makes it easier for you to work with Reiki energy.
Removing Self Care Roadblocks teaches you how to identify and resolve any situation that is standing in the way of appropriate self care. If you continually find yourself re-prioritizing yourself to the bottom of your “to do” list, this is for you!! Using a variety of coaching tools, you will release your blocks and leave with a concrete plan to help you incorporate self care into your everyday life.

So what about your other new workshop?
Intentional Clarity is the perfect workshop if you have a dream, goal or desire that you just can’t seem to get moving on. At the end of three short hours, you will have a clear vision of your success and know exactly what action to you need to take. Then you will be invited to set specific goals that are energetically infused with momentum and magnify your desire to take action.
You do need to already know EFT to be able to take this course, so if it sounds good to you, I would recommend making my introduction to EFT course “Reduce Stress, Reduce Cravings” a priority for you.
